Its six Schools, Economics, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Medicine, Sciences, have grown quickly in their international dimension, hosting hundreds of foreign students, visiting scholars and University officials. 1789 foreign students have been enrolled in the last year in our University and the number of Italian students involved in international exchange programs is increasing year by year.

Tor Vergata University in Rome, established in 1986, has reached in a few years prominence in the world academic environment, ranked as it is by independent evaluator, QS, as 44th in the world (qui mettere attachment url di ranking) among universities 50 years old and younger. It is the leading school among medical schools in Italy.

Tor Vergata University in Rome has invested in a new campus, Campus X, where accommodation facilities are up to the highest modern standards for visitors. The University campus covers a wide area in the Southern area of Rome, linked to the historical city center by a quick subway system – a 20 minute ride will drop you in front of the beautiful Spanish Steps, allowing you to enjoy a walk through History! Close up south are the gentle hills of the “Castelli Romani” region, with its vineyards, its traditional food and the elegant villas, including our gorgeous Villa Mondragone residential facility, the Papal Summer residency.
